Frederick Abernethy started hairdressing in the swinging sixties, taking his influences from Vidal Sassoon, and has never looked back.
Daughter Emma started hairdressing for the family business in 1982 and has trained with the best at the L’Oreal Technical Centre to acquire her exceptional technical skills.
Having built the hugely successful “Shaggers” chain of salons in Bristol, Bath & the West Country, together they embarked on a new challenge when creating Abernethy’s Hairdressing. Combining the style & sophistication of the most exclusive salons with a family-run, friendly atmosphere, Frederick, Emma and their team put exceptional customer service first.
